A global mining company are seeking scientists & engineers to work in their Turkey office on International projects. They are looking for candidates that have already worked previously in Turkey, below is a list of potential requirements for that office. They are seeking individuals at various levels.

Environmental Science/Engineering :

BS or MS Degree in Environmental Sciences or Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering

Experience with Turkish EIA and environmental regulations, Equator Principles, IFC Environmental and Social Performance Standards, project permitting processes, environmental due diligence, environmental audits, mine closure planning, undertaking and/or coordinating Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, undertaking and/or coordinating fieldwork inspections for data collection, data interpretation, technical reporting.

Surface Water Engineer (Hydrologist) :

BS or MS Degree in Civil, Environmental, Geological or Hydrogeological Engineering,

Proficient in use of technical hydrological software such as HEC-RAS, etc.Also Knowledge of mine water management, strategic water evaluation, storm water control and water resources; remedial measures to minimize impact of floods on new developments; analysis and development of river diversions; estimations of floods and routing through dams; long term water yield analysis for water supply dams; dam break analysis and modeling for dam safety inspections and new proposed dams; flood attenuation in dams and flood hydrology reservoir yield analysis; and environmental baseline assessments and water specialist report for environmental components.
